I looooooooove your accent

Sometimes I feel like a circus horse. Folks in the UK love my accent. If I call O2 to see about my mobile service, the customer service guy (who is not too good at his job), random people in queues with me, people at work - let's just day a lot of people.

Apart from my discomfort at times in feeling like a youtube video that people are having a mid-am chuckle at, is my disdain that when said folks try attemp my accent - the most used salutation is "What Ah gwan?"

Now I have a lot of friends from JA but I do not hail from there.

So here is my question? If you are so interested in my accent and love trying to copy it (which is quite amusing), then ask me about it first. What makes the Trini twang different.

However, that doesn't happen. Instead, people use Jamaican phrases to talk along with me and my Trinidadian accent and it gets me annoyed which brings out more of my Trini talk and makes them laugh more.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Quite proud of myself that I have managed to hit my blog a few times this week.

Sign of the times.

The writing arm of the Eng is back.

And you want to know something? I feel back. I feel like I am going through renaissance - after a few words.

So many things I want to talk about. Like what you ask?

Rape
Cocaine use - they use it a lot over here!
Pedestrian laws - more importantly the creation of!
Being in a 14 year relationship and happy!
Sex
Sex
Sex
Friendship

I sounding like the prphet in Gibran - one of my favourite books btw.

This is it for now for my Friday ramble. Wait! It's Saturday already!

Oh! Guess what? It is 33 minutes after midnight and Clark is still up, jumping in his crib watching Mickey Mouse.

Mad like he mudda!

In a timing.
